RESTORATIVE ACTION PROGRAM
The Restorative Action Program is a partnership between School District 69 and Arrowsmith Community Justice Society, aimed at providing a neutral conflict resolution resource to students and their families, who are involved in a conflict at school. This program allows the opportunity for participants to take accountability for their actions while promoting empowerment and resolution. Participants solve their own problems, utilize conflict resolution skills and have a voice in the process while under the guidance from trained facilitators.
The process is completely voluntery. All that is asked of participants is that they:
Take accountability of their part in the conflict
Be respectful of others in the process
Remain open minded in order to build a better understanding of each other while addressing the harm which resulted from the conflict.
